Having complete control over your domain names is something really necessary and to be able to access and edit the DNS records for each of them is one of the things you need to look for when you search for a registration or a shared hosting provider. Maybe you have heard about the so-called “name servers” that show where a domain address is hosted, but below them you will find a whole set of records, such as the A record, which is the IP address of the server hosting the website, and the MX records, which show the server that handles the e-mails for a particular domain. These records are used if you'd like to have your site with one company and the emails with another, for instance. You may also use a domain for a non-website service or forward the traffic to it through special records. Some companies ask for an extra fee to give access to edit particular DNS records apart from the name servers.
Full DNS Management in Shared Hosting
You are going to have 100 % control of the DNS records of your domains and subdomains with each of our Linux shared hosting packages. Via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you are going to be able to access an easy-to-use tool where you can see all existing records or set up new ones with no more than a few mouse clicks. Besides the default A and MX records, you can set up CNAME, TXT, SRV, and you may also set up private name servers for any domain name which is registered with us. The custom records will give you a lot of freedom and will allow you to do things such as hosting a subdomain on our servers while the main domain is hosted elsewhere or the other way around, employing a third-party e mail service, and so on. We are never going to ask for any fees from you to be able to manage the DNS records of your domain names and the service comes by default with all shared plans.
